Business Data Challenge Committee

The Business Data Challenge Committee is a joint committee between Asset | Economics, Asset | SBIT and Flow. The committee is responsible for the organization of the Business Data Challenge, meaning they are responsible for finding the participating companies, locations and promotion.
The Business Data Challenge is an event organized for Master students Information Management, Data Science & Society and Economics. While the Information Manager ensures that the information systems are aligned with the business strategy, the average Data Scientist is concerned with analyzing data in order to optimize the business processes. The Economist will always hold an overview of what is going on and is able to apply this information into various models. During the day, participants will need to complete an extensive case offered by one of the three participating companies. The day will end with a dinner and an informal drink.
