In cooperation with prof. dr. Sylvester Eijffinger, Asset | Economics organizes the yearly Frankfurt Excursion. This two-day excursion, which takes place on December 8 and 9, consists of visits to the Deutche Bank and the European Central Bank. The visit to the European Central Bank is especially interesting since students will get a sneak peak in the monetary policy setting by one of the most influential institutions in Europe. The Frankfurt Excursion is most relevant for students taking the seminar Financial Economics by prof. dr. Eijffinger, but other interested master students in the Economics programme can also attend the excursion. Especially the visit to the ECB is special given that they allow only a very limited number of visitors every year.

The participation fee for the Frankfurt Excursion equals €65,- for members of Asset | Economics and €75,- for non-members. Please come by our room E105 if you want to subscribe so that you can fill in the subscription form. Along with this you should hand in a copy of your ID-card or passport, and a copy of your travel insurance. The deadline for subscription is Wednesday, November 9. Subscription will occur at a first-come-first-serve basis since there are limited places available, so be sure to subscribe fast! Payment should be made before Friday December 2 in cash at our room E1.05 or by means of electronic transfer to account number 53.49.20.861 in the name of Asset Economics.
