Study Tour 2012 – Wir fahren nach Berlin!

From the 10^th to the 14^th of April we will be heading to Berlin. For only €235,- (€250,- for non-members) we offer you an amazing time. The journey starts early in the morning on the 10^th of April. Then we will travel by train to Berlin. We have made some great plans, so you will not be bored. The week will contain a mixture of company visits and cultural activities.

Berlin

Berlin is the capital of Germany and the second biggest city of the European Union. The city is one of the biggest cultural, political and scientific centers of Europe and is known for its low costs. Berlin has more bars than any other European city, and with 134.000 students and an average of 119 liters of beer per year per inhabitant, Berlin is the perfect location for a Study Tour!

Company visits

Berlin hosts a lot of multinationals and companies. We will for example visit the Deutsche Bank der Zukunft and the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. These companies are really interesting for students who study Economics. During our visits, we will get a tour around the company and a case study.

Cultural visits

The Berlin Wall, Potzdamer Platz and of course the Reichstag are some of the main characteristics of Berlin. No highlights of Berlin will be forgotten during our Study Tour. We have planned a lot of cultural activities, such as a visit to the state prison, a city tour and a visit to a beer brewery. Of course we will discover the night life of Berlin! In your spare time, you can go shopping, get some rest or do some more cultural activities.

• Transport by train from Tilburg to Berlin and back. Also the travel costs in Berlin are taken care of (except in the spare time).

Subscription

Do  you want to join us? Subscription is possible from the 7^th to the 24^th of February. You can subscribe by visiting room E1.05. You have to fill in a form with your personal details and sign a contract that you will participate. Furthermore you have to bring a copy of your passport and travel insurance to the room.  Subscribe quickly, because there is a limited number of participants!
